This morning I got up at 4:00 to drive two hours to climb my first fourteener!
It was so much fun!
As we were driving up we went up through the clouds! It was super awesome to try to look at the valley we had just come through and see it covered with a blanket of fog.
We got to watch the sun rise over the mountain!
I went with a group of 60+ people.
I love the mountains! All the rocks and boulders, and the moss growing between.
We climbed up to the tippity top!
It was so much fun!
You should totally come with us next time!

That was soooooo fun! And the best part was cheering people on waiting at the bottom. :)
Were you out of air by the time you got to the top? I bet your legs were burning. Mine were when we climbed Uncompahgre. Next time you should go to Uncompahgre Peak. It's an eleven mile hike, but the view pays of. You can see Durango from the top.
It wasn't too bad. Is Uncompahgre Peak a fourteener?
